Seek

What treasures do you hold in your heart?
There are so many things we all desire, a happy marriage, great children, personal safety, a home, plenty of food on our plates, financial security, and probably a long list of other things.
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matt 6:33)
Even if you’re not a Christian, you can apply this in a different way, seek first the things that are right and genuine joy, will be your life.
. seek love
. seek joy
. seek friendship
. seek to help others
. seek to serve your family and those you love
. seek things beyond yourself
I’m not saying you shouldn’t be satisfied with what you already have, we should all be content in that matter, but there is always more we can do for that kind of joy, that doesn’t come from having a lot of things, but loving people more.

Forever

This says it all.

Marriage, relationship, family, friendship is ALL about being there for one another.
The Bible says “one another” 232 times, so it makes me think that we have a need for each other. (NKJV)
For love.
For a helping hand.
ForĀ guidance.
For an ear.
For wise words.
For companionship.
For laughs.
For tears.
For loss.
For big events.
For small, fleeting moments.
Forever.

You are Beautiful

“You are beautiful…when you let friends have their space, when you believe, when you laugh, or are moved to tears, when you let it just roll right off your back, when you talk about your dreams, when you help a turtle across the road, when you try to do the right thing even when it comes out wrong, when you love.” ~ Anonymous
